Adventist Youth Ministry -Guides teens and young adults in spiritual growth, leadership development, service, and commitment to Christ and the church.

Adventurers-Leads faith-based activities for children ages 4–9 that support spiritual growth, character development, and family involvement.

Children's Ministry-Nurtures children’s spiritual development through age-appropriate teaching, worship experiences, and faith-building activities.

Clerk Ministry-Maintains accurate membership records, minutes, and official documentation to support church governance and accountability.

Communications/Media-We connect Abney to the community and to the world. Serving the ministries of Abney through video, audio, the internet, and photography.

Community Services- We meet the needs of our community through social services.

DeaconsProvides care for the physical needs of the church, supports worship services and ordinances, and promotes order, service, and reverence.


Deaconess- Supports hospitality, member care, and worship preparation, with special attention to nurturing individuals and assisting with ordinances.

Disabilities Ministry-Advocates for accessibility and inclusion, ensuring individuals with disabilities are supported and fully engaged in church life.

Education Department-Biblical teaching, learning, and spiritual formation.

Elders
-Provides spiritual leadership, pastoral care, teaching, and oversight that strengthens the church’s mission, unity, and doctrinal faithfulness.

Family Life Ministry- Promotes healthy marriages and families through education, support, and programming grounded in biblical principles.

Food Pantry-Provides the Community with food for the body and for the soul.

Greeters-Creates a welcoming environment by warmly receiving members and guests, helping foster belonging and connection.

Grief Ministry-Provides compassionate spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing loss.

Hospitality-Coordinates fellowship and care efforts that strengthen relationships and help members and visitors feel valued and supported.

Health Ministry-Encourages wholistic health through education and programs that support physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Men's Ministry-Equips men for spiritual growth, leadership, service, and family responsibility through mentorship and purposeful
fellowship.


Music Ministry- Leads worship through music that glorifies God, supports congregational participation, and enhances the spiritual atmosphere of services.

Pathfinders-Provides structured spiritual, leadership, and life-skills training for youth through service, learning, and mission-focused activities.

Personal Ministries-Evangelism.

Prayer Ministry- Interceding for anyone in need of prayer.

Religious Liberty-Promotes awareness of religious freedom, conscience rights, and civic responsibility in harmony with biblical and Adventist principles.

Sabbath School Department- Oversees Bible study and discipleship for all ages, fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and mission engagement.

Safety Ministry-Develops and implements safety procedures that protect members, guests, and church property while supporting a secure worship environment.

Seniors Ministry-Supports the spiritual, social, and practical needs of older adults, encouraging continued purpose, connection, and service.

Stewardship Ministry-Manages God's resources.

Ushers-The Gatekeepers.
